Couldn't do the high work without one.. Just think how it would be without one..:grumpy:

Thanks everyone....nice to make some progress on it after a week of cold weather!

sphelps, It is just getting typical metal building panels on the outside. Given the size, that is about all I could afford!

Decker, been there done it without the lift.....ladders, scaffold, etc....all of which suck! Trooper is right, they are a pain to crawl in and out of, but that beats dealing with scaffolding!

Hopefully we make good progress today!

I'll just keep my head down and keep on moving, lol! Neatly stacked lumber has a tendency to stay strait and true. I learned that at about age 8 or so...while stacking lumber, lol! Besides, it makes it a lot easier to find what you are looking for!

I meant SIZED pile, but yes, it is stacked neatly :watermelon:

The Admiral had me out looking for the Christmas shopping all weekend..

Arch your barn is looking great!! I was wondering about the blocking down at the one end. Is that spacing going to continue throughout or is there something special going on down there?

There is going to be a mezzanine in that area. I framed the lower part of those two bays as a bearing wall with 1x4 let in bracing to attach the panels. Eventually the mezzanine joist will bear on the walls.
