Well..I got the old steering wheel off and worked a bit on prepping the helm area of the dash..

May have time later today, but gotta get ready to meet Gcboat down at Hooters on Ft. Myers beach...ohhhh yaaaaaaaa

Kev I dont know about your Hooters but I remember well the one in Brandon outside of Tampa we used to call it Butts they all had nice butts but none of them had Hooters .

thats where this pic is from... hooters on ft myers beach. it was my wifes first time at a hooters and she just didnt understand why its a cool place to go. i kept telling her that i only wanted to go there because the food is good.

SWMBO wouldnt buy that one for a second 1. she is an X dancer 2. she knows I am not that big on wings . Now hooters on the other hand I am like Bill Engvall I loooooooove hooters .

It was a great time meeting GcBoat and his other (I think better) half!!!
Diane & I had a great time...Wish we could all have a National iboats get together, that would be a Be-acccch logistically, but would be lotsa fun!

Sittin in the Budwieser lounge in Atlanta..have a 4 hour layover..My travel agent must hate me. But I get to smoke!

Well..Believe it or not there is some progress!
I spent some time polishing the gauges...

Painted the rest of the helm..Looks better all one color..

Made a new panel..The holes look a bit off, but the gauges fit in nicely. Once the paint is dry, I'll put it together and show you guys the mock up on the helm...

Lol..Rick has my back....

Let me see..In the month of June I was on the road 3 weeks..
I either fly or drive out on a sunday...Spend saturdays packing and getting ready to leave...I usually get back into Ft Misery after midnight on a Friday..am beat to death all day the next Saturday....Diane is a wet blanket when I get home, wants some attention too!

I took 2 days of in July to get somewhere on the boat..but freekin got sick on MY time..man that sucked....

I either dont have the time, or dont have the $$ to get what I need done..If I have one, I dont have the other..

My next big $$ will be the cables...Or that 18 ft SS!!!! lol

Wait!!!!
You need my boat done by the next time you head down to FMB!!!
Ahhhhhh, I see whatcha up to!!! lol
