HA bud..
I havent touched her yet.
I am taking tomorrow off (I leave Sunday out of town all week) to go float her in the Calossahatchee River and see how crazy tall that 42# Kota is on her..
May have to stand up to steer, like a gondola guy! lol

You can run it deep if you need to and sometimes I like to kick mine back quite a bit and run it like a little 3hp Johnnyrude:)

When you do that running the tiller(from the middle bench maybe) involves reaching down if the handle is extended.

Sounds like a fun trip, good luck!:D

Since I leave outta town tomorrow, I really wanted to get her on the water today..dang raining and windy again today..
I did fix the trailer lights in between passing rain clouds..
All ready and waiting for maybe tomorrow morning, since I have a 4pm flight.

Hey CBK I came across these old Lonestar brochures online...is yours the Commander model maybe?

It is similar to yours, maybe not exactly the same on the benches. Nice old boats those Lonestars, we see them around here for sale quite often too.

The blue one is from '57.

The other one is from a '63 brochure.

Thanks bud

I cant enlarge the blue one enough to see it clearly
I had seen the 63 ad online too..
I was thinking Commander as well, but it seems in 63 they didnt have lapstrake?

What are they going for in your neck-o-the woods

Well she floats..Not a leak in sight.
The 42# Minn Kota is going to be sold...It sucks in my opinion!
There is a 15 hp rude for sale on CL for 300 (and its a 1955!) and think I need that!

I felt the same way about the trolling motor. That sounds like a good price on the rude if it is in good shape. Listen to it run b-4 you buy it. It'll make that little bo:Dat scoot.
