Re: MFG rebuild getting started pics

Thanks guys ! Any day you can get on the water is a great day !

Just got back from the water parks in Mickey Mouse-ville . We stayed in this place for a few days .
Campgrounds & RV Parks in Orlando, Kissimmee & Disney, FL | Tropical Palms Resort Pretty good rates . Its kinda layed back but still plenty to do . They have a bunch of these cabins you can rent .

Any way I did manage to score a small but needed B-day gift today for the boat !

Was really needing some of these.. :joyous:

Just catching up and seeing the labor day outing pics... Glad you are enjoying some time on the water... The hard top is not only functional for the hot Florida summers, but looks really cool too.

Thank you everyone for all the Birthday well wishing !!! :tickled_pink: The trip wasn't really planned as a b-day event . It just kinda worked out that way ..:eyebrows:
Paying for it a bit today with all the walking ,climbing, and swimming . I used muscles that haven't been used in a while !

Pmc, yep the h/t made it nice to get out of the sun for a while . The Admiral enjoyed it the most I think !

Thanks for stopping in jskinner1 ! If the seats are the fun and sun type originals I would be interested in them ! If you want ,post up a picture of them so we can see what ya got ! :)

Re: MFG rebuild getting started pics

Where'd ya score those? They look NEW & metal not plastic......

I hate to be plain, but black

Looky what arrived in the mail today !

Now I need to decide on a paint scheme ... :indecisiveness::noidea:

I like the silver/grey lettering on the white boat with the shark and "swish" painted to match the topside color. Its how I painted mine. Just mixed two rustolium colors together to match the boat.

All black tends to loose the shark detail. I like the gray because it shows off more of the emblem details. The early 60's emblems were pot metal castings chrome plated with the shark painted. Later versions were black plastic. I pulled a mold from an early pot metal emblem.

That does look great Mark ! I have not made a decision yet and have thought about painting the shark to match my cap . I also like the last scheme GT posted with the black letters green flat stripe and a grey shark outlined with black . It makes the shark look kinda life like .
Just got to get off my tale and get it done ..:)
