Nope . I am pretty sure the motor was made by Studebaker .. They still make replica's of the 64 but they have chevy engines in them .

Bet you did hate to see that car go...love the dash nice simple clean lines...spokes dropped down out of the way on the steering..nice look!

Looks like all the trim and body parts were in good shape...wouldn't take much to get it looking new again...but then I have never refurbed a car...so what do I know

^^^ yeah, it didn't look like a 289 in the pictures, valve covers are the wrong shape and the intake is too wide. water neck and distributor in wrong spot too.....

(my inner Ford Blue is starting to show) LOL....

That is a cool car...reminds me of a History teacher back in High school that had one, I was in auto shop and I thought it was one neat looking ride... Our auto shop teacher told us about the body being built by the same company that built his 67 Convertible 'Vette...I didn't know that it was the same company that also fabbed the MFG's...that truly is one awesome factoid, making them kinda like cousins...hope it gets a second shot at life...

Great job sp. They all turned out very very nice. She's gonna be the sweetest thing on the lake. Not sure about the uv's though. Appliance paint is really durable. It should last a long time. It's not like your boat will be sitting out in the sun for months at a time.

Great looking trailer. Looks like all you need is a light set. I would definitely put new bearings in. For a few bucks per wheel, it would be a great little investment. A bit of carpet on those bunks are pick up set of roller bunks. That would depend on the boat launch. Looks like a wench would be needed. I buy the wenchs with the strap instead of the cable. Check your hitch coupler for wear, maybe pick up a lock. Good deal though.
