Nope pot metal does NOT attract a magnet but. A close up exam should tell the tale... pot metal is very grainy on the edges

You guys never cease to crack me up LOL!!

Ok I fixed the bad screw tab with the jbw . Then I stuck the housing back together with the same .

It looked like the light was pressed together from the factory so I chose to jbw in place . That way if I should ever need to take it apart I will just grind the weld off and it will separate with no problem .
Hopefully some primer tomorrow .

Looking good SP! If you go the LED route I doubt you'll ever have to open it anyways!

Thanks CW !

Welp it was a sad day . My mom decided to sell dads old 63 Studebaker Avanti . So I stopped by and and took a few pics before the guy hauls it off .. I wish I had the time and money to restore it but at least she came away with some cake for it . You can tell its a 63 because of the round headlights . The 64 had square lights . 289 with a Paxton Supercharger . Pretty rare car !

Well at least it's going to get restored instead of wasting away ..

I like the angular hood blister for the Pax ! Get much wheel time or was it hands off when you were at home?

Is it staying 'local' enough to see it once they've gotten it back on the road?

Nice job on the rattle can paint job!

Yep I did get to drive it a bit years ago . The super charger would kick in around around 65 - 70 mph and you could really hear it coming ! Kind of a high pitch vortex / winy sound . The guy that got it is here in town and not to far from my brothers house . Sure hope he does a good job ..
