Quick sewing tip ....
When sewing piping together DO NOT use 2 sided sticky tape to hold together while sewing . Especially if you are using the small rubber screen spline for the piping . It needs to kinda be loose where as to slide up tight in the nose while sewing the panels together. It will stick to the 2 sided tape and really tick you off !
I,m gunna have to fire that hamster for coming up with that bright idea !:facepalm:

Only had to re-do one piece . It didn,t take long to figure out I screwed up ..
My high school band director would always say . "Practice does not make perfect . Perfect practice makes perfect "..
That has always kinda stuck in my head ..

Sewing ain,t the easiest thing in the world to do. But here is the first attempt at the real seats. The bottom seat un-pulled and un-stapled ..

Not real proud of the boxed end. The last piece proved to be rather difficult..

The teal color is called Independence China green ..
And the white is called ahh White ..

No sewing today I had to clean up my truck for tomorrows Heart Walk downtown .. Our company volunteers to take care of all the drinking water for the 3 mile walk . We load the back of our trucks up with ice and bottled water and we each have local high school kids to help hand the water out. This year we are adding doggy swimming pools to let the pets cool down in .

Quick update ..
I hope slow and steady really does win the race ..Half way done withe the main seats ..

My advise to any of you guys . Get a good heavy duty machine cuss your gunna need it .
BTW the heart walk went well Saturday . The only problem was we ran out of water before we ran out of walkers. There was a lot more people participating this year around 16,000 !
Here is a pic of our booth after it was over . We set up this wall and everyone signs it and leaves messages to there loved ones lost and those struggling now .

While I was there I got a chance to mingle with rich and famous !

Then me and Rush went and played a round of golf and smoked one of the good cigars he had. The Prez cound,nt make it he was kinda busy ...
