Looks like you had a great time.
Man your lucky to be so close to the boat ramp.
I think I could use some of that time spent on the water. :D

Nice looking fishing rig. You know it's nice to have a couple of different boating options::D

This is the 1 I use to cruise with my beautiful, loving, caring, forgiving, wife past envious trailer queen new boats... <<-- order the descriptive terms as you see fit

I use this 1 for a weekend on the water w/ the whole family...

Me & my fishing buddies use this 1 for fishing....

Re: MFG rebuild getting started pics

Sp you should be done with that little list by 11, noon tops.

So the sanding, how are you doing that? Witha block or by hand or using a random orbital? Not sure why, but I have always enjoyed sanding by hand. On wood of course.

I was on vacation last week and forgot to go wet a line.......maybe I should do that?

Your audit will be over before you know it too. The sanding will be done and you will look back amd reflect wondering where did time go?

Thanks Troop ! Sanding with a block , by hand , and a belt and vibrating sander. Don't have a random orbital. I may pick one up.

Hey sp ..... I am in the same boat as you ..... all I have been doing for the last week is sanding and filling. It is going to be in the 80's Wed so I am trying to get the cap ready for paint. Every time that I would wet sand an area I would find another scratch or chip. Today the mailman saw me sanding again and said "You have been working on this thing for a long time all you're going to do is fish out of it so just paint the damn thing already." I laughed so hard but I realized he was right I have been spending to much time on the little things.

If you get one, don't get a cheap one. I've worn out two. The bearings go and the "random" turns into 5000RPM orbit.

Point well taken ezm !!

Just might git this one . It;s supposed to run great with perfect compression and have the motor to fix the tilt.
I think it would push the MFG pretty well ! 500.oo.

Well I had some free time so I started making my seats. Got them done then realized they were supposed to be blue!
Where is the best place to git vinyl and would they send sample material ?

These cushions came out of a restaurant that was getting remodeled . The foam feels very firm.

Re: MFG rebuild getting started pics

Scan WOG's bench & BF threads, he's posted a few good suppliers for vinyl & sewing gear.

endjobberXZY @evil-bay..... Something like that, my cross-platform, synched bookmarks aren't....!?!?!

Technology hates me today, mas problemos mi amigo, muchas mas problemos.....

But why change them? Those cushions are perfect for a Red, White & Blue July 4th splash! Better get busy.....

I know kettle~black & all, I definitely shouldn't be giving splash date heckles:facepalm:X1000....

Sorry to hear that S.P....
Well just ask for visitation rights and go to the hunting camp...you get to still enjoy it and do some hunting, too...

Repaint the Boat to match...

Heard of guys finding good vendors at places like Ebay, and all over the "net"...

Most vinyl supply houses will provide free samples...

You could just dye them to match, too...some of the new stuff out there is pretty tuff stuff and long wearing...
maybe cheaper and faster, plus it lets you "live" with them for a while before you decide for sure if that is really the color you want?...
