It took a while for PB to start going off for the fillets .
It,s been raining off and on all day with some humidity maybe thats why it took so long to start setting up..
Gotta few small bubbles I,m just gunna have to grind down later..

STICKY!
The hardest part I find is corners and chasing bubbles down. Sometimes it lays perfect with no problems then sometimes it,s a PITA!

LMAO at that first line!!
I thought you had started a "Sticky", then realised you were saying it is STICKY! lol

Did you try the 2 or 3 pairs of gloves at once?

I was thinking it might be a good idea to use some duct tape to make a pull tab to aid in getting the top pair off.

When you say corners, you mean like across the top or along the sides where you were tabbing to the hull?

Regardless I say it looks like a great job, you should be proud.

Tried with 2 pairs on . I was making small batches. Not to hard pulling used layer off .
The outside corners are tuff . Take your csm and kinda pre tear the edges and loosen the strands up where the bends are and that helps get it to wet out better.

Looks good to me.
Corners need to be rounded over for outside edge and a radius on the inside corner made with PB.

Keep up the good work and the more you do the better you will get at it.

The temps will make a big difference in how fast the resin will kick. The cooler it is the more hardner you should use.
If it is below 60 degress you should not glass unless you can warm up the work area where you are glassing.

Hey Sp, i been wondering what happened to you, your transom job is looking pretty good!!!, just make sure you have enough layers of glass on the inner skin and wrap them up the sides about 1 foot at least toward the front of the boat , basically you want a good connection of transom to each side of the boat, a lot of pulling goes on there when engine is at WOT, other than that , looking good , I have been really honking away at my MFG as well, latest is 1 side storage shelf is rebuilt and installed(what a pain in the arse),floor is gelcoated, inside walls are painted and tomorrow night i make the other side storage shelf, then i install seats and carpet, i can smell the salt water already!!!!

Decker, thanks ,little by little I,ll get better. The temps were in the 70,s today. I used some hardener that I had for awhile I switched to a new bottle on the next batch and it went off right . Maybe the old hardener had something to do with it.

Adoseth,
After I pour I,m gunna lay more glass and git rid of all the bullet holes, tired of looken at the ugly transom!
Got any pics of the Seacruiser ,s progress over on the mfg site??

Good work... Glassin is definitely an acquired skill... I have a lot of respect for the guys that make it look easy... I equate it laying tile or doing wallpaper... Anybody with attention to detail can do it, but the pros sure make it look easy, clean, nice, etc...

Your work looks good!!! Like Decker said - rounding the corners and using fillets really help.

Keep plugging along.
