Thanks for checkin in Decker, CW, JDA, Troop, rrumba...always a genuine pleasure!

You guys are a hoot!
Nah, I got no plans to start my own stitchin factory...at least not till I finish this restore and get really, really good at punchin little holes in fabric...hahahaha!
oooooo...PURPLE! :cool-new:

Any how, came home and made some exploratory cuts on the cap, got inspired and almost cut it out all the way, then decided to stop before I couldn't get a handle on it by myself...

This weekend I plan to pull the boat up next to the cap, finish the cuts and do a preliminary first test fit...can't wait...

Till then, Happy Wednesday!

We did...

OK....
Here's the scoop on all this Pink vs. Purple talk...
when I was looking to buy the Morse...I emialed WoG to ask a couple Q's about it...
When he replied, we started talking 'bout CW's cool looking PINK Morse and Wood suggested I paint mine Purple...
Which I might, well maybe, someday...
Happy Humpday...
Oh Yeah...and don't none of you's guys forget the most important ones in our lives on Valentine's...

This is an idea that I have had bouncing around in my skull since I first started this crazy endeavor...

This from post #9...
"One big problem is now I am looking at what has become a Blank Canvas... The cap is just begging to be almost completely re-done...Not because of any major structural problems, but because of new design ideas that keep bouncing around in my head...."

After tearing into the boat, I found that all the wood in the cap was mulch...Since then, I figured that a more modern, up to date and more practical design for the cap would be added to my restoration agenda...moving stuff around, re-using what I could and generally re-designing it to better fit my needs...

Sooooo, for what its worth, the best part of this restore/rebuild is yet to come...
