Went to the shop early this A.M.
Did a quick D/A of the hairy particles left over from yesterday's glassin session...
Ran the Die Grinder through and around a few spots to knock out/down some unwanted resin & mat run-off...
Picked my mess...
Collected my supplies...
Hooked up the 'ol tub & trailer...
And hauled it home...

Bow nailers PB'd and CSM'd in place...

Stern Nailers PB'd and CSM'd...

Starboard...

Port...

And the rest of the Cross brace and Upper Transom layered with 1708...
You can also see the rest of the nailers laying in the hull, I was also able to coat them with resin, yesterday...

Got to go to my supplier this week and pick up some more resin, so I can finish installing the nailers...then it is time for some serious "Cap-itulation"...

Starting to get a visual...

Heck, I might even build this interior out of cardboard, add a few layers of CSM and 1708 and call it done......yeah right...

This is all looking very interesting now.. Looking forward to seeing more of the deck work..
I think that archbuilder used some 4' x 8' cardboard that he bought from HD or Lowes on his poontoon design..
May help you in your design..

Thanks Deck, once again I am a fortunate individual because I get all the free, HUGE cardboard at work...just imagine the size of the box a pickup truck hood or quarter panel come in......although sometimes I have to wait a couple for one of these to get wrecked and then get the boxes the parts come in...

Well, I have been sworn to do NOTHING boat related this weekend due the Admiral's request that I give myself completely over to her whims for the celebration of my 52'nd B-day...which is tomorrow, the 23rd...
She has some secretive plans to make this entire weekend a most memorable and enjoyable time...
I have considered the options and see no other possibility than to surrender myself to her...
If I am fortunate enough to survive the upcoming festivities, I promise to post any and all occurrences as soon as I am able...
My best to all of you and a very Happy Friday to all...
May the boat restoration elves and fairies descend upon all of your projects and complete those long awaited steps towards completion...
