Re: Love, Necessity and Pride

I wasn't sure how to post a Word doc (how I started it) or a Xcel sheet (how it is now) do tell.......

I started in word thinking it would be a cut & paste. but it ended up so wide I thought it'd be hard to read. I wonder if Go Advanced has it, never thought to look there til now:facepalm:

Generally, I found that letting vendor now that it'd be shipped to a business (w/ a dock high enough to pallet jack the goods off the delivery truck) often lowered the shipping.

Happy calc'ing!

Glad to see you're not forgetting the munchies!

I'm not sure you are realy know if you're comparing apes to apples. IMHO, any of these major vendors will give you auality materials, unlike what you'd get from Home Depot, Lowes, or auto parts stores.

I am trying my best to keep it APPLES to APPLES...
let me highlight... I am trying my best...

No clue, Sherlock...still tryin to figure it out myself...

Yeah, I learned this long time ago...shipping an engine to your front door, costs more than to a business, and even less if a dock or forklift are available...

Happy calc'ing!
This is actually quite difficult, ya know...

Glad to see you're not forgetting the munchies!
Never!

That is what I will be tryingto do.

Well Shaggy, you clearly aren't taking Scooby, because then snacks would be more then fuel!

Sure do miss my bestest bud, NINA, but since she passed, I haven't been able to bring myself to rescue another...maybe someday...:(

You cannot post doc or xls files to the forum. You will have to take a screen shot of them and then post them as pics.

Insert table is last line on my 'go advance' reply settings

Test because I don't know tables well enough, but the width is set at 500, which is to narrow for most corp names, looks like 750 per column would be max width on 6 columns

I got the idea to try it out as I was trying to figure out how to post a chart and VWAALAA!...

That's what I used to create the chart I PM'd you jbc...it sort of automatically adjusts itself to the space you need and it is actually quite flexible and easy to use...
All of the settings can be changed and I think the column width becomes a sort of maximum...if what you type in requires more space, it automatically makes the column 'taller' and starts another line underneath...the number of columns/widths, etc. don't seem to matter...it just adds a slider bar at the bottom of the post...

Weeeeeellll, Yes and No...

Got in touch with FGCI, only 'bout 30 miles away, and they said they might be able to work with me...still waiting on a response...

Also did a lot of side by side comparing of the big ticket items, and USC is still in the running...

Variable Number Three- My neighbor has been Captaining for over a month straight and last message I got from him, through his Son, is to wait for him to get back...

Soooo, all that being said, I am NOT going to pull the trigger just yet, in hopes of saving enough money on the materials, to be able to get almost everything I will end up needing for the basic rebuild...

Even though I am "itching" to get the wood all resined and installed...This is one time where waiting can be VERY, VERY beneficial...

More input as it comes my way...
