After all that work you need to change color to something dark and glossy to show of how straight and smooth this thing will be. A nice navy would look great. It'd be a show car look.

actually the bottom of the boat will be a deep navy blue......the theme of the boat will allow it to have that car show look !

little kafuffle last night........

when i finally got to the boat at 8 pm.....he was just leaving......with out checking by feel or looks......he had it in his mind to "do the side" .....well he took a sander to the side i had just done by hand.....wrecked all eight hours of longboarding work. sooooooo i re hit the same side i did the night before....after 3 hours of sweating.....i called it a night and went home....its not as good as it was the other night....it still needs more work, so tonight....more boarding......

i didnt get pics last night....because it was redundant....but mabe ill take a pic of the blisters on my hands......(bilsters right thru the mechanics gloves i wear for sanding)

him and i are good buds...and he was never supposed to be in the equasion..he has good ideas and experiance on how to fair a hull.....but the fairing was supposed to be finished the second the gellcoat hit the hull......but i think im gonna have to have a polite chat with the both of them again.......in fact.....i think im gonna do that right now.......brb

the people said she was there....but i didnt see or feel any progress.....

I think I'd politely explain to him that you spent 8 hours cleaning that side up only to have him come in and ruin it ( you have pictures and scores of fans to back you up ) and that you need a better line of communication if this is going to continue forward. If he is your bud, he'll understand and put some extra effort into doing this in a top notch fashion...as this boat deserves, afterall- that's what it's been getting up to this point.

I really don't want to make a murderous oompa loompa dancing around the screen stuffing fiberglass dust down his pants so hard it's coming out his socks.

how bout a ooompa loooma with a chain saw standing at the big bay door with a chain saw in his hands and snarling doberman pincher teeth!

he is staying away totally....but im gonna make him re spray it......

she....was supposed to work in it yesterday....but when i got there late....i didnt see any work done.....at all...!


last night i finished up the side he messed with.....and started on the other side.....got it half way done.

im gonna run over there now to see if any work is being done
