What??? I want my money back. Thats it. Give me my money back. Someone once said that the lake is not going anywhere so take your time. So i did and when i got to the lake it was gone! It was there the last time i was there but this time it was gone. I dont understand where the lake would have went to but it was gone for sure. You said that the lake was not going anywhere. Well it was gone. So now i want my money back cause the lake was for sure gone. I dont know where the lake could have went. There was just a big long hole with mud at the bottom and a bunch of fish flopping on top of the mud. I think someone stole the lake!!!! Ill pay someone to find out where the lake went! Ill pay you the money that i am getting back from the 100% money back guarintee.

It is huge. You could play hockey in that boat now!

It looks really nice oops.... and it is huge. With all that space, I think you should install a head on that boat.

Saw one today that would be perfect. Had your name written all over it:eek::eek:

Hey Oops, your boat is awesome, I have read the whole thread and just finished reading it over again this weekend and have to say that it is the best! This thread has become the instruction manual for my boat resto. If I need any tips all I have to do is flip through your thread and everything I need will be here!
Keep it coming!

IF i can get uninterupted time on the boat today....there is a full list of things i wanna do.........i hope the day is a productive one......

I am going to assume that this has to do with the ex gf of the facilities owner. So are you Dr. Phil or Dr. Ruth?

Now get back to work.......maybe forcing him to help would deter him from asking for advice.

.i had six hrs of work to do on the boat ....got there at 3 ish in the after noon after a morning off.....( i watched a sask hamilton football game, and posted here)......because of the interuptions ....i never geally got going at full pace on the boat......finally i got up to speed....was working smoothly.

Hey Oops,

That is really looking good! Sometimes doing things right just seems to take forever, but in the end you will be mighty happy that you took the time! Not like I need to tell you though....I just wish that I had your patience!
Keep it up!

Re: hull extension in progress with picks

sorry guys....i left the camera at the shop last night.....so i guess tommorows update will be a big one......

one of the chores i had been putting off was to glass in the motor mounts and the rest of the motor cage....

this is a pic of the old one

Picture006.jpg

and this is an older pic of the new configuration.

picgroup40032.jpg

in order to tab the deck in....each side of the knees has to be glassed to the deck....

as well...the motor mount blocks (they now fill the two empty spaces on each side of the bilge) need to be glassed in to place......
not only do they need to be glassed in....i needed to fab a glass cover for them......this was done by taking a peice of glass.....attaching it to the deck, then running it down the side of the stringer (a 90 deg outside corner), to the mount block....a 90 deg inside corner, over the mount block, another 90 outside corner....then attach the glass to the side of the bilge.

that along with all the other tabbing of the deck to the hull in the kneed area...made for a lot of glassing....went thru 3 gallons of resin, and im allmost out of ddm 30 mekp......

the other night i tried to make the motor mount ledge described above with a 48oz biax material.....well....it didnt go too good......the cloth was far too thick to make the corners....(even though i had pre folded the glass and put heat to the folds......our old glassing a 90 dergree corner nemisis came back.

after a big wet out, tacking, and glassing till the sweat was dripping off my mask into the resin......it just would not work so i had to pull the peices off and pitch them out :(.....

i got it all done last night with a combination of csm....veil...and 1708.....

(got more coustomers comin in....ill finish this up date in a minit)

I think that he is a small mom and pop shop......that would make him the goon. Glad to hear you got some work done. This project is moving along nicely. Keep up the work. I am sure grinders have save more than one relationship.
