9 for the motor's 03 250 Evinrudes,

5 in the boat (with paint & all materials)

3 for mics, cushions, lights, stereo , exc....

He put 8k in the boat like he wanted to in the first place guys! Give him a break already The motors are always the deal breaker!

What I'm really waiting for is some good video footage when Jserb gets this thing wet for the first time and gives her a little throttle!

Hell yes....I agree. And I don't think you have anything to fear as you first posted about having more in the boat than you can get for it. Like redfury said, the motors are where your money is. Look at all your sweat equity as well. Man, all that will pay off for you in the end. Also, you know...you really really know how good your gonna feel as you hammer that 500 hp for the first time and you look around you and see this beatuful ride under you. Everyone will be a-wishin they were you!!
This has been a great thread. I am always anxious to see the next installment!! I would say thanks from all of us who have followed your diligence and hard work....

Don't let him swamp ya! I'd love it if the time came and I got my boat done that we could get a couple of us together some weekend ( that'd be a lot of gas pulling a 17 ft boat to Michigan from MN though! )

every other boater on the water will be be saying..
oh look at that rich guy wonder where he got the $$ to buy
a $40,000 boat in this economy...

then jserb says... I bought it for $800 bucks.. as a stripped boat,
i re built it with my blood sweat and tears..

jserb.. you gotta be proud man.. i know we all wish we could be
there on the maiden voyage. and be on board when you hammer
those 500 horses for the 1st time...

hey guys, i truly appreceate the support. It couldnt come from anyone more important than you guys, cuz lets face it, you guys are the only ones who can truly appreceate the work. For that i am truly greatful.

Here are a couple photos of the boat i stopped by and saw it yesterday and it was all finished! I will pick it up tomorrow and ill post photos (as usual by sundayof usmounting the outboards.

Please. give your thoughs....

looks great!

how does the new paint look against the rest of the hull. I know many times when you paint something, the other items or areas now dont look as good.
