I think I will too. I was torn on whether or not to get the platform that goes just below the lip of the existing swim deck or the one that goes flush. The one that is flush just looks goofy to me.

I got my Gauges in the other day. I am much happier with this set, as compared to the other ones. My Brake actuator also came in. Now we can fix the brakes right as soon as the weather warms up.

This past Saturday my family and I went to the Dallas boat show, and just had a blast. I have to say, if you were in the market for a new boat, this is hate place to buy one. The prices were use phenomenal. We saw a 22' Four Winns that was loaded to the hilt, and sticked for almost 70K on Sale for 43K. I almost bought it right there on principle. We spent about 5 hours there going in and out of boats, and wishing it was summer. I did not take many pictures, and I was having too much fun with my kids to do so.

I did get some ideas for my boat :)

Here is the new brake actuator I scored on Ebay for 65 bucks.

I thoroughly enjoyed the video. Nice editing and I am sure you have a nice sense of accomplishment on the whole project.

It looks like a lot of fun!!

Thanks guys. I donut know about you guys, but I am ready for boating season in a bad way. It is affecting my whole attitude lately. I need to do some work on the boat to help me cope.

Um, thanks, if you meant boating season 2013, I'm in. If I can nail down an owner of a SC or Century, I might have to buy a boat to use this season. Finish the 1 in dry dock & then switch them next winter.

Either way, the SeaRay turned out great!

And several of us refer tons of folks your way here & on YouTUBE. Watched the RC truck vids over the weekend. Nice job w/ that too.

We all cope better with you working on boat projects too.. It's a win -win... Look forward to watching the vid and seeing the new sea ray project series.

I am almost to the point where i want to restore another boat, but not there yet. The extra money I have is going toward the sea Ray at the moment.

Where are you, Menglor? I've been to Ottawa many times. I've found that the temperature there rarely gets below freezing, mostly because of all the hot air coming from the government buildings.:D

WOW!!! I just could not handle that, but then again, when it is 107 here, you guys think I am crazy. However, heat is all I really know.

Re: Here I go again!! 1995 Sea Ray 220 Signature Deck and Stringer Restoration

Ky, 25min N of San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas (3% humidity & 115-120F, but it's a dry heat, still SUCKS!), WV now.... Been in Houston in July and at Christmas, humidity, wow...

There was something everywhere, but least favorite: Las Vegas. But not because of the heat, it's a good place to visit occasionally, very occasionally, but live there again, no thanks.... No offense to our Las Vegas resident iBoaters. Wish I'd known you then:) The dogs & I loved going out to Lake Mead just past Lake Las Vegas. As long as it wasn't July/August. Wet dog in the truck cab~Nope! Dogs in the back on the black bedliner in the sun for 45min coming back~Nope....

Salt Lake was really great, except the 1 christmas-new years week & almost a half w/ no power at home:mad:

We make do... I really actually prefer 3 or 4 seasons a year climates. 1 or 2, not so much.....

Nice to hear you've got the itch to redo a boat starting to nag at you. It's just won't seem like spring w/ out Jay working on a boat:D
