30 minutes with a pressure washer and the joker listing it might actually get some reasonable offers... Not $12,000 offers, mind you, cause the boat is worth half that. But still, in this case the owner's laziness will probably cost him dearly.

Whatever style of "star wars" bayliner that is has to be the ugliest boat ever made, I can't believe anyone ever bought them.

I don't get the side windows, but it was the 80's. I get the function as a wind break, but it's like driving a convertible with the top down and the windows up.

A friend of mine has that exact model... bought it for $800 and uses it every week in the summer... He really likes it..... I don't love the style but it isn't my boat.

I'm seeing a trend of people heavily bashing bayliners... True, they aren't built as robustly as some other brands but most of those other "superior" boats can and do rot out as well..... There are plenty of people that visit this forum who have decent bayliners and likely get really tired of being bashed by extension for the brand of their boat.

Not all bayliners are automatically junk and I've seen PLENTY of junk rotten boats made by searay (probably just as many as bayliner), wellcraft, carver, regal, mako, chris craft, viking, glastron, arrowglass, and lots of others.

Yes it is easy to find a rotten 20+ year old bayliner but that doesn't make it polite to group em all together and bash away.

I actually like the look of some of the Bayliners. They went to a more modern look a bit faster than other manufactures.. I came close to bidding on a Capri 1400 on Ebay. It was rough but had a said to be running Force outboard. Ended up being too far away and with work picking up then, I couldn't have made the trip in time. It did sell cheap..

I wouldn't mind a Trophy with a hardtop

Oh sheesh, that's waaaaaayyyyy more than my mortgage and I'm not even including the down payment plus balloon. And I'm on a 15 year mortgage!
