Here's a nice project. Be sure to stock up on duct tape.

Great Project Boat With Good Trailer

Interesting.
If you look at the first picture, the boat is all happy, and put together, sitting on top of bunks on the trailer.
Second picture he has, it looks like the boat is sitting on the frame of the trailer. Did he rip the bunks off the trailer?

I didn't pay attention to the trailer after I saw the damage. Ad says new bunk covers, so ???.

New bunk covers on missing bunks....
Looks like he also ripped off the PVC guide tubes at the end of the trailer too..

If you read the ad, the first pic is what it looked like after he restored it, before it was in an accident.

Great Project Boat With Good Trailer

From the ad: "In addition to the boat and trailer, I am including the electronic start Yamaha tiller arm which I had on the 50hp motor in the photo above. The handle has a cracked piece from the wreck but it's probably fine as is or could be replaced inexpensively I would think."

Aside from all the damaged hull and (apparently) damaged trailer, he's tossing in a broken tiller handle off the motor that he's keeping. Now that really sweetens the deal.

What seems odd is that there are no scrape marks on the boat near the holes. How the heck did he do all that damage?

For sale by owner... 43' donzi with slight stress cracking on the hull and some brown stains in the seats... engines drives and major systems will be removed. Great project for repower.

Take over payments.

GA It's the Starcraft of your dreams, or nightmares. Auto accident? Love the way it sits on the trailer now.

64 - I offered $0.07. Haven't heard back, he must be mulling it over.

EDIT - Wonder if this is one of the 6000 other state boats damaged by Sandy?

JB - The trailer tires look newish. And the bunks are in the right place. Will the busted Yammie tiller fit a Merc?

Meet my lil' busted tiller arm helper~fixer upper:
the-truth-about-duct-tape_large.jpg

Merc tiller arm to Merc is a 1 roll of duct tape or less project.............. Yammia to Merc or any mismatch to mismatch is a 2 roll minimum project....

If it was less then 4hrs away, that 'brick'ed SC could make a decent donor for a Jet.... Updated windshield & all.... If it cranks w/ compression

JB - The new pics impressed me so much, I'll tell you what. You can have it. In the spirit of friendship, camaraderie and goodwill, ya know. I don't want that overpriced thing when for a hundred bucks more I can get a busted tiller, trailer parts and a glasser that just needs a little work. LOL
