its a fruedian slip......he ment we wants to assure you have problems.....not insure ha ha ha

although the results are the same

Freudian slip and a grammatical error. The proper word is "ensure", not "insure". Well, wait, maybe he really did mean that when you had legal problems titling the trailer, he was going to pay for it?

Even if it wasn't his intent, it's become so now, lol.

I still don't understand why people just assume that everyone else is stupid. I mean, come on, if the title was so easy to get, then why wouldn't he just go get it? Don't know about IL, but in FL we can walk out the same day with a title from DMV.

In Illinois it's pretty much impossible to get a title without the old one in hand.

Hmm, some how they couldn't measure 30 years ago...

As Al points out, today's boats count a molded in swim platform, so that boat would have as much interior space as a 22-23' boat today.

Best example I can think of is in the Sea Ray line, when they had a cruiser called the 245. When molded in platforms started to count in model names, they took the 245 hull, molded in the platform, and it became the 270! My parent's Sea Ray 268 Sundancer needed 29' of dock space, or it wouldn't fit.

However, that boat has the dreaded 470 engine, so it's not worth that price no matter what trailer is or is not included! RUN AWAY!

Yea, that was the main thing with the price was the 470. I know from experience ( well, my dad does ) that a 470 is a POS. He had a 488 that started knocking. He didn't have the time to R&R it, and neither did I. Mechanics would not touch it.
Makes sense about the swim platform. I haven't worked on a boat newer than 1984 so that would explain why I was unaware they were measured as boat length

Hmm, some how they couldn't measure 30 years ago.. Price seems 'ok', but I think it'd be a better deal with the trailer

The thing is, this would only be a good deal IF the trailer was included, because after all, it IS a freakin' trailer boat! I mean, I realize that there are some who might put that boat in a slip year round, but come on...it's not a cabin cruiser.

I would agree. Bowrider needs to come with a trailer or it's pointless. It is right close to Lake George, so it's possible the trailer is borrowed or something like that.
