Would this be worth the money? My guess would be that wood stringers.
http://bham.craigslist.org/boa/3289024428.html

Not to many (if any), and definitely not w/ the White Leg of Death hanging out the back...... Seller claims that there is no wood in the stringers, many builders used hollow, wood free stringers, Winner may have been 1 of them in 1974.

Google could help you answer that question, before you called if you like the boat & have a Mercruiser V8 & outdrive already and need to put it somewhere.

The '72 Winner runabout I had used formed fiberglass for the stringer system. No wood inside, it was built like a tank. Also, we talk about using pop bottles for flotation in our rebuilds, Winner used heavy plastic pillows jammed everywhere for flotation.

As promised in another thread...the i/o boat with a rudder!

Who'd a thunk it?

20 foot Cuddy Cabin 1976, With a ford 302 2-bariell V8 210hp engine. needs some tlc but the biggest thing is the rudder lift is gone the rudder lift is the small eletric motor that lifts the rudder so you can pull the boat out off the water this can be done manually, there is NO punctures or fractures in the hull, the engine needs some maintenance like a new battery a oil change and a few bolts on the carburetor need to be tightened down. the boat comes with bill of sale and the trailer comes with title. 500$ or best offer

Jeez  What's with the rollers on the transom? Almost looks like it's on purpose, but how do you float her?

I'm guessing you remove the handcuff/holder to free the "rudder lift" and she rolls right off.

Who puts a family heirloom around the neck of a pig? That guy apparently! Yikes! :)

I wonder, was it a pearl necklace? Even I know better than to put pearls before a swine, let alone on one.

It looks like the boat is too far forward on the trailer, either because the winch stand is moved forward or the trailer is just too big.

The stupid thing is I'll probably start calling my trim the rudder lift for fun and then I'll be the dummy...

Here is my craigslist boat / project. Guy who sold it to us said "he had no idea" what it was like underneath the soft bow...
YET, When we pulled the deck we found his invention of a 2x4 "frame" built to hold the bow deck from collapsing!

Granted she was affordable and I knew she'd need some work but people could have been hurt. Ps, everything is rotten from bow to stern.

Re: Funny "TLC needed" boat ads on Craigslist.

I replied to a Craig's list scam post yesterday as I like terrorizing them a little. Check out this response

Hi,
The boat is in perfect shape and it has never been involved in any kind of accidents. Engine runs perfectly, no leaks. I legally own, free of any liens or loans, under my name. It has 234 hours, for sale at $14,900. I’m selling the bost because I lost my husband and my child of only 19 years, with 2 months ago in a car accident. A drunk truck driver hit them. They were in my husband’s car and they didn't had a chance. This was my family boat and brings me a lot of memories that make me suffer and this is the reason for what I want to sell it as soon as possible. If you have any other questions, or need more info, please free to ask. I've attached photos. Please click here for more details and pics : http://imgur.com/a/vkIXQ

I would have called you already to speed things up but I have a talking disability because I've suffered a tracheotomy surgery just 2 weeks ago and I'm not completely recovered. I hope this won't be matter and we will be able to complete this deal. It's very hard for me right now because I can't fully express myself to people around me but I hope the situation will come to normal very soon.

Thank you,
Maggie

Check out the pics. Perfect Ranger for $14,900, that's why I flagged it and replied.

I do this constantly with "Rickyisms" from Trailer Park Boys. "Get two birds stoned at once" (kill two birds with one stone).

You get some strange looks with that one around the PD.

I use so many silly ones that I have heard and come up with over the years, that I must sound like an absolute fool to many. I worry that my kids have learned to use words incorrectly just because I mess around so much.
