That jet ski ad HAS to be a deliberate joke. There is no way anybody is that stupid! I have often wondered if people post ridiculous ads just to get folks like us to go crazy. I would call the number to "verify" it's legit; but I'm sure it belongs to this idiots ex-girlfriend or wife or somebody he's trying to aggravate with pointless phone calls.

Fake or not, 32 to 85 mph you know you're thinking about calling about it. I mean, come on, the "motir riuns grete and the womin will ask fer rids" what more could you want?

You just need your passenger to steer while they also spray the hairspray in the carb.

Actually I see this kind of spelling and grammar all the time. It has to do with people that text on their phones. The phone auto corrects and fixes all the spelling mistakes.

I wouldn't pay $225 for it, but it would be interesting to power my 7ft dingy with it. Maybe I could build something like it myself from scrap.
Although, I think I would prefer the type with the ratchet handle and a prop.

It is an interesting bit of history though.
For some reason, I'm fascinated by these old, manual power outboards.

Here's a few choice ones from the KC Craigslist, looks like the going rate YOU have to PAY to haul off someone's garbage is $700-$1200 depending on who you talk to.

Yea, out of them all, the bottom 1 is the 'most worth it' but If I were looking at it, I'd probably offer $500 and look at it for parts. It's sad, Fiberglass boats don't age at all on the outside, but many don't realize that the Transom and stringers rot out and that makes a big part of the structure.. Neglect is the huge killer. Not too far from my house is a NICE Thompson lapstrake runabout that sits for sale by these people that buy/sell boats and cars all the time. Has a period correct Evinrude, could possibly be the original configuration. They want $$$ for it, which I know they can get expensive but it sits uncovered so it isn't going to take long for that boat to start to rot.
