This one makes you cringe. This guy dumped over $17k into an '82 Wellcraft within the past few years. Now, he is trying to sell it for $6,500. It's been listed for a while. Not sure how much money he's going to lose. http://rochester.craigslist.org/boa/2452845601.html

I guess by the time he got finished typing,he was so pissed off, he added a few hundred to asking price 7,200 at top is 6,500.

More like weeping. If I dumped $17k into a boat I couldn't sell for $6,500 I'd be a mess.

I'm looking for my first boat. This one's in my price range but definitely staying far away! Blown motor and soft floors are more than TLC to me...

This is a good boat for the money , Needs a lil TLC and it be good as new...Has a Eagle depth/fish finder...
The floor is soft in back seat area and needs replaced , bout 3 ft from back is all , basically around the engine compartment area . the rest is in good shape.
New impeller & flex plate put on since last year. Has a 4.3L engine that needs rebuilt / replaced , took it out last weekend and was running great then it spun a rod bearing...Not sure of the internal damage but i think it just needs the lower end rebuilt...Had it listed for 3500 but taking 1000 less because of the engine being blown...
Possible trade for bike / vehicle

Not a CL, but on a local Auction site

1957 Mercury Outboard Motor

- 6 cycle

Starting bid $20.00.
They really knew how to build them back them, maybe it has 3 times the power.

That would be 1/3 the power than a 2-cycle

Why is it that guys like the one above can advertise that $500.00 hull for $5K, and I can't seem to get anyone interested in a $8k boat for $800? (not that I have one, but just saying)
