So he's asking an extra $650 for installing a $50 throttle cable, rebuilding the starter (probably around $50) and tracing a short? That's more than a marina will charge you. I looked at a boat last season for $2500. I almost closed the deal but the guy buffed out the hull and installed a $300 (car) stereo in it and suddenly decided it was worth $3600. I couldn't help laughing when I told him to rip the stereo out because it's just going to corrode and die being a non-marine stereo on a boat. Oh well.

For Sale or Trade:

1968 Larson All American with a 120 HP Mercruiser I/O. Nice interior has been recently redone. No seats; wide open. Motor won't run. Manifolds are good as is the outdrive. Not sure what the story is on it. Renters abandoned it so I don't have any paperwork but I have gone through the legal process of obtaining ownership. Might be better for parts??? Very nice trailer. Will sell some or all or trade for ?

That's funny! Just padding his post with keywords, but rarely see anyone put some humor into it. Other than that, this might be a pretty great little parts boat for someone or even a rebuild. The trailer alone probably worth more than asking price.

IF NOT SOLD IN THE NEXT WEEK OR TWO I WILL FIX IT AND ASK 2-3X's WHAT I ASKIN NOW


So why not fix it now and then sell it for the inflated amount?

I actually built something like this a few decades ago...lol... I ended up standing it up on its stern in my living room, and using it as a bookshelf... I was too embarrased to actually use it or be seen on it on the water after my first outing !

Im looking for a cheap jon boat. Doesn't need a title, doesn't need a motor, doesn't need to look pretty, doesn't need to float. I do want it to be halfway solid, not broke in two or anything like that. Would be happy to pull it out of the weeds or dump any junk out of it, whatever it takes, not wanting to get too much cash in it.

This guy claims his 4cyl 17ft boat does 120MPH. Isn't that what the 120 on top of the motor means?

I HAVE AN IMPERIAL BOAT THAT I AM LOOKING TO SELL. IT HAS AN INBOARD/OUTBOARD MOTOR.12 TO 18 GALLON UNDERDECK GAS TANK,AND GOES UP TO 120MPH,IT IS A 4 CYLINDER AND HAS A 120 OMC MOTOR. JUST REPLACED THE SPARKLUGS. IT NEEDS A BATTERY AND SOME INTERIOR WORK(FLOORING AND NEEDS SEATS).BODY IS SOUND AND HAS NO HOLES,TRAILER HAS NEW TIRES. I AM ASKING 400.00 OR BEST OFFER FOR IT AS IS..I HAVE THE TRANSFERRABLE REG. FOR THE BOAT AND TRAILER. HASNT BEEN REG. SINCE 05.

"JUST REPLACED THE SPARKLUGS. " Now ya just know that guy did all the proper maintenance to the boat while he owned it..... BTW, where are the sparklugs on my boat?
