I can't say it any better than Mr Ladyfish.

The problem with many "intellectuals" is "analysis paralysis" They over-think problems and therefore often can't make up their minds. The first thing GW learned at HBS was how to make decisions w/o perfect or even complete data. You study the case, draw conclusions, make decisions, draw up plans of action 2-3 times a day every day for two years...

George W. Bush is THE man for the job, no question in my mind. He has proven his strength, fierce determination, a strong heart and soul with nothing but the safety and betterment of America his first and only priority. And, whether some may disagree, he belives in God, and for me that speaks volumes about the man he is.

Re: Do You Believe?

I do NOT believe in GW Bush, think he is a very arrogant and not very smart wanna-be King, and has been one of the worst presidents ever. If it were not for 911 and the subsequent patriotic ***-kicking fervor, any lame democrat could throw him out of office.

I do NOT believe in Kerry, either, think he is the usual spineless, pompous, say-what-he-thinks-you-want-to-hear democratic offering that is NEVER going to accomplish anything useful for the country, and I sometimes think that the democrats really don't want to win an election ever again, the way they come up with these horrible candidates.

I will vote for neither man for president, because neither represents my values or my hopes for the future.

What was "progressive" about Gray Davis being bought and paid for by the prison guard lobby, or his disgusting secret forward contracts with the energy crisis scammers? I guess I have a different idea about what progressive means, but Gray Davis must have PO'd even a few progressives to lose a recall election in la-la California to an action-movie star.

I think the hemi was a 426 wasn't it?

Chrysler and DeSoto had the old "Hemi-Head" (hemispherical head) engines. I think they were phased out by 1960. They are quite pricey if you can find a stock one now days.

The 273,318,360,361,383,413,426 and the 440 V-8 engines used standard heads.

...Bob in Calif...

But didn't the 413 and the 426 also come as hemis? and I'm pretty sure there were still hemis after 1960. Wasn't there still a hemi as late as '68 or so? Help! we need a new thread!

Bob, don't forget Progressive also means smart, erudite, sophisticated, tolerant, inclusive and deliberative. All prerequisites of being a liberal. :p

The 1968 Roadrunner had a 383CI HEMI...Even said so right on the fake hood scoops.
Not sure, but I think the 1968 Charger had a 440CI Hemi.
