Wow! I can't believe how much you are getting done...
Looking great!
I agree with Woody, Paint!
And as for the few little 5200'd holes, you could just dig out the 5200 and refill with a bit of PB...mainly because I don't think paint sticks too great to 5200 and you might have issues in the future with those spots...

Uhmmm, I'd prolly put a 10" tabbing of 1708 on it as insurance. That's fairly structural and you want it to be pretty stable. Of course, that IS just an Old Dumb Okies opinion so take it for what it's worth!!!

Here is my motor as you can see it has oil injection my question is should I leave it oil injected or should I remove pump and just premix my fuel

I am not a fan of oil injection. I had a very expensive Yamaha waverunner a few yrs back....the oil line was attached by a $0.04 zip tie from Japan...it came off, fried a cylinder. I ended up selling that pristine waverunner for a third of what I bought it....and the engine was in pieces, on the patio. I will never trust oil injection again...just my 2 cents...

My plan is to put the woven on top deck and the walk ways of the deck. But before I do that I am going to fair the gunwales and all vertical areas do a acetone wash on the deck then the woven last so it will be fresh for the gel coat

Hello all question will the gel coat cover the print through from 1708 and also csm or do I have to putty over all of it

Yes, it will show through. I gel coated over CSM and 1708 and CSM in my bilge and ski locker and you can see the print-through.

I used a fairing compound from US Composites, mixed with poly resin, before I covered my deck with Durabak. It was pretty easy to work with.

Thanks Jim I have the glass bubbles just was not sure if I needed to do the entire area or if just the lip from the mats would be sufficient. I actually already put a thin coat on most of it just thought I would ask Thanks again for the quick reply

Yep, gel is just like a really thick paint but it will telegraph whatever surface finish is under it...filling and fairing is the only way to get a smooth finish if that is what you are after, and that will only happen if you apply it thick enough to begin with and then sand and polish it afterwards because gel usually goes on with an orange peel finish...
