Batteries & fuel are often placed to port to help counterbalance the captain at the helm. No matter where you put them, strap them down. Many of the tin boat guys push the batteries as far forward as they can to add bow weight. Can't imagine yours under the console will take any more of a beating then a lightweight tin boat's battery in the bow will.

Thanks jb The battery was housed in one of the small compartments in the rear of the boat and only enough room for one I would like 2 batteries plus this gives me more storage .
Thanks corjen Glad you like it I didn't know what else to do with them but I think all in all they should work fine. I also never told you I like your signature you can't beat John Wayne

New tool I bought to spay my gel coat that I decided to paint instead. The tips are disposable and the paint goes into a cartridge So clean up is very easy. Also the tips are available in 1.4 1.8 and 2.0 and you can use them about 6 times I do plan on gel coating my live well and storage areas so i'll let you guys no how it works

From what my research tells me, You're gunna LOVE that gun!!! They are the ULTIMATE GelCoat gun!!! Easy to use and the 2.0 tip should be just about perfect. There's lots of vids on YouTube to show you how to use em. I'm Sooooo jealous!! If I EVER decide to do a Big Gelcoat job, I think THIS will be the gun I purchase. I'll be watching with GREAT anticipation to see how your progress goes and what kind of results you get using it.

Yeah that's what I gathered also I opted for the pressurized cup to help push the gel out. I also can not wait to try it out. I figured it was worth the expense for my next 2 project
