wife yelling at me to get the workshop cleaned up because company might be coming ... thanks randy :) havent done much was having slight health issues but seems im about to get back at it trying to decide if i wanna paint parts apart or put outboard together then paint it like it appears yamaha did...

need to drag the red boat home and clean it but i got enough to do rt now with the blue boat so imma get on that first!

So got most of outboard back together new waterpump , seals pitot tube fitting replaced still havent decided about paint but i figure need to get it back together and run it first to be sure im not just wasting money on nothing lol

man i was so close to mounting to boat its back together except lower unit cant believe i was abler to find all the parts and get it back together with my memory lol still alot of work to do on it but ill mount it tomorrow and finish up the work with it on the boat

its mounted on boat still needs painting but its all back together :) brought other boat home the red one because low and behold i opened it up and a dead raccoon was laying in the floor no idea when he got in there but he never made it out so i get the fun tomorrow of cleaning the boat out and getting rid of smell side note i have a really good ozone machine and buddy told me get some charcoal and put it in the boat it will remove smells so thats the plan , im going in with my paint mask and vics vapor rub under nose for good measure!

Good to see you back in action Mick!.....never heard of a racoon dying in a boat....didnt even know u had racoons in FL lol....

an ozone machine is the ticket.

been gone for so long I didn't even know you were doing this boat until now! good to see the OG's still plugging along around here.. lol

Well im at the wiring phase now and yeah its been a struggle to get motivated after stroke but im past the window for another one so im back at it

so i filled the outboard oil pan with diesel just to flush it out one more time in case any thing got in there :) after i get the red boat fixed ill be back on this, need to wire boat but waiting on parts for the connection to the outboard was missing the rigging piece that connects the hose to engine ugh

Well i finally found a use for flex seal !! These trim pumps seem to rot out pretty fast so i sealed new one with flex seal and we see how long it will last :)
