Re: '78 Ebko Lebaron - Therapy
Perplexing.....
Is there any moisture in the piece you took out or what you can touch thru the cut hole?
It appears to be something they placed into 1 of the hull's hard chines during fabrication. Made that way as a structural girder(??), so perhaps not bad, unless it's wet
Then, well, you know...... it's bad gumbo.
But if not wet, probably do a few
smallinspection ports in a few locations on each side. No wet, no need to remove, it's been dry since 1978, so in another 34+yrs.... I'd just CSM & 1708 over it to strengthen it & roll w/ stringers & tabbing!
I suspect it was giving under the weight of the grinder & pressure, because you'd removed some of the glass over it during stringer removal or put back prep.
Again, I can only suppose & suggest..... Pending guru sign off...
BTW, we are pending catahoula pick up again this weekend. <<<--- I know kind of an SC pickup type thread:facepalm::facepalm:
