Troop you need to practice Back Stitching so you can lock your stitches when you begin and end a stitch run. Raise the presser foot, Raise the need till the tread releases, pull the material back a couple of inches then back to about an inch from the end of the material and sew back over the previous stitches. This Locks em n so they won't come out. Since you don't have feed dogs you can also just HOLD the material so the WF doesnt feed it and sew a couple of stitches on top of each other to lock em. Takes some practice with out breaking the thread. JDA taught me that on his old Singer.
