You got that right...been a long hard road to get where things are right now...


If things go as planned...next week I have another trip to TN....I'll wave when I drive by...I'd honk but doubt you will hear it

anyway one full week after that plus a weekend and I should be on the road to PA....think we are leaving out on Dec 24...

Troop you puttin the rest of the boat gear in the hull for the trip as well? Good space and pleanty of room for other things too. Everything looks great I really like the hatch work nice to see the power sitting there even if it's just temporary.

So your going to be on the road for Christmas..

Have a good weekend, if boat work is possible, best regards for some progress.

If not, a trip completed this week & a big 1 soon, well may be boat work just isn't possible. So pack safely (??)

Ya JB made it back in one piece...only boat work I am getting done is some packing on the boat...checking wheel bearings...figuring out what to do about the coupler...think I have a plan...

So here are the results of the plan...

Put a piece of pipe where the shock should go...this is with the actuator fully closed...figure there is less force pulling than when stopping...especially if stopping fast and sudden like...

Got the spare bolted down..

I really wanted to get the coupler done right, but with all the money I am spending on getting the house...nothing left to do it right...

Good temporary solution to the shock absorber for the actuator...

I am glad to hear you are getting close to traveling to your new home...are you gonna be able to do it in one trip or is it going to take more?

Liked it when I was younger...glad the new place is only half mile from the office...too bad I can't take a lane: and all the houshold items just magically show up

What day....got the truck loaded...will work on getting the boat and trailer hooked up tomorrow....get a good nights sleep then the Ebko road show will begin....

at least two days travelling...cities along the path include Monroe, LA...Jackson,MS...Birmingham,AL with a planned overnight stay near knoxville, TN....


Should you see a 26' truck pulling a 20' white boat with a brown canvas cover....no out drive installed...black trailer with a single yellow stripe...be sure to honk and :wave:

Safe travels!

As you swing thru WV headed north, on route 19 I suspect, watch your speed. The little towns along there are fairly small, and speeding tix is a major contributor to budgets. You'll also go over the New River Gorge bridge, base jumps @Bridge Day every fall

Watch for traffic @ the 79N & 70E/W interchange after you get into PA & head towards Pittsburgh. The shopping @ Washington PA's mall area will be crazy til next weekend.
