That's no glasser ! that's a welded aluminum hull. It has some resale value, I hope to sell it to recoup some cash for a bimini. I'm only using it because it's water ready and a pretty cool old boat. So don't fall for that old glasser now, it's value is only in the motors on it. That tin SC is a much more sought after boat, especially when laid out as a fishing boat their resale value is greatly improved.
ya I know it's tempting to keep it and do a resto on it as well. If I did some cosmetic work on it and got the 125 evinrude running and on there it would be worth a few bucks. It has the full enclosure plus all the windows and a very heavy duty custom tarp for storage.Oh jeez yeah that one looked glass to me on my little phone screen, I had to go to the laptop to check that. Not seen an AL boat with such small laps, normally old glass boats only have those. I wouldn't sell it then and certainly would do what I had in mind for it had it been a glasser. :heh:
Hey Knezzer, here's a link to the bunk conversion I did on the SS201 couple pages either side of this one., http://forums.iboats.com/forum/owner...age47?t=543074
That's what I want! Hybrid bunks ! Did it work well?
