the dock looks sweet.... It's a real shame that guy is living such a hard life.... I hate to see suffering.

BTW if tomorrow goes as planned I may cruise by and check out the dock in person sunday before going up the creek for a cunningham and fries!

i smell an update,,,,,,,,, ac and a genny,,,lol batman would love the ac:D,,,, who you kidden with all them lights youll be too tired to boat in the day from all that night lighting:D
A'c would be nice, but if I want ac I will just stay home. got to rough it a little atleast until I can afford a/c,lol

^^^^^^^^^ lmao,,,, you musta run him for hours,, he looks beat:D
Got to wear him out so I can work on the boat uninterupted, lol

i cant remember:facepalm:, the green part shining on the rear under side of the hardtop, do you have it mounted in the door to the overhead? or above the box? can you see the lights there from the back of the boat? that light there will be valuable on the water, great idea!

I have a strip mounted shining upward in the electronics box. The light you see shining on the ceiling of the cockpit is from that.

Thanks smoke, The finished product when all done should be pretty sharp.

The new owner is a really nice guy and down to earth. He had a horse in the derby last year and will have another in this derby if it stays healthy. He is one of those guys that luck just follows him around, and not bad luck either. Truly a nice guy though. They are supper happy so far, plan to keep it that way.

The home is actually Arch Heady"s old home, Heady funeral homes. It pays to bury people I guess.

Sounds good, I wish I was dropping in this weekend, just trying to focus on getting it all done before I splash. soon though. Good luck getting her wet!!:)

Actually the hatch for it is closed in the pics, it has a tinted glass front and still shines through. Its where my radio and vhf and future 2nd vhf are mounted. ;)

Speaking of the electronics box. What better thing to do at 1am in the morning. I removed the front logo cover that I had fabricated for the front of the electronics box. I taped up the backside of the logo, then primed and painted. This will get rid of the light around the logo when lit and should help the logo pop more when lit. Will know very soon, the black paint is still drying.:)

Taped ready for paint.

Got the electronics box logo re-installed. Still need to adjust the reflector piece I have inside, but atleast the logo is the only thing that has light coming through it now. looks much better. :D Guess I can sleep now.:p

LOL...you have your own way of doing a lot of things, chriscraft254, why am I not surprised that you have your own special method of doing deck posts!

Nice work on the framing and on the logo light!!! Oh...and the decorated doggy!!

What a cool deck. I guess the river is constant level.

Thanks man, I tend to over built things and with posts, i don't like having them bend and twist up within a year of install, so I just have a specific way of install that helps fight against that. Plus it looks really good on the finish. Rained out today, more tornados in the area as well. Arggg

Thankyou, the river floods constantly, the deck will have plenty of posts and concrete in the ground to keep it from shifting and floating off. The water just comes over the top when it floods. The sea wall will also hhelp because the deck will have a plate tapconed all the way up the wall.

great improvement, that did the trick, and time well spent.:D

Thanks Buggy, I didn't like the hugh of light that shined through around the logo when backlit. The starboard being white I guess let some light shine through where I didn't want it, taking away from the logo cut out.

This pic shows the before where the light protruded around the logo cut out.

Now this pic is after painting the backside around the logo, much better imo.

Gonna' have to re-name the boat "Blinky." ;)

Looks great CC. If you're going to be out on the water for the fireworks or Thunder, you'll be an eyeful for the rest of the fleet.

Thanks man, I put the fade to both the different lights tonight, it was wild looking as the two different colors changed to different colors, lol Its kinda like fireworks, just not as explosive or dangerous.:D
