I am not going to go back and respond to every little thing posted during the last 3 pages, lol. I will just say thanks guys, I have been laughing all nite at your posts. So much that my cheeks hurt, ohh, maybe thats from falling off the wet ladder,nm.

I will post up better pics as I get them. I took like 250 pics in 20 minutes just trying to get them in here to load to photobucket then to here, pita. Anyway, will keep everyone posted on things to come as there done.

And yes, batman has been wrapped in lights before, will have to search for a pic. He likes em. :) Thanks guys.

On another note, here is the progress on the river project. Set the lower pad and started up the wall with another. This will get 2 more then a set of steps. all decking will be parallel with the rest of the lower deck. Should give it a really cool effect going around the stone/riprap. Would have been a perfect day for boating, and i saw only one boat.

Here is a pic off the dark blue that I seem to not be able to ever get a good pic of. It likes to turn purple in pics. hope to be able to take better pics of all the lights eventually. And another pic of the red. I also am going to be painting the backside of the logo panel on the electronics box, so when lit, you will only see the logo and not light around the logo. I also think I will tend to like it all lit with the same color, the two tone is fun but I like the static one color. Will post up some video eventually.

Umm, where are the teak light channels & LED's? I don't see any allowance to prevent hot spots, nor refractory general area lighting?

Nice looking deck. When finished, please send pix to the Army Corp's of Engineers & ask them to please refrain from letting the Ohio river coming & taking it away anytime soon. It'll be too good to wash down river. But then there's job security......

Enjoy the weekend.

You don't see the leds? They must just be to small to see,lol Anything you put down on the river will surely get ruined. This will be one of the nicest docks in the area, so hoping for some referrals. I will have alot of posts and tapconed into the wall all the way up,it will be stout as hell when done. The railings for the stair system will be removable and numbered so they can be removed when flooded. I doubt they will ever do that, but I will be happy to have the constant maintenance calls for removal and reinstall.:D

Think I have already sold more work here and also have a led light install when they bring there boats in. Kinda becoming my side business.-:)

Will be working on the dock this weekend but thats still enjoyment because maybe it will afford me to work on the boat some more. Still hope to get some bottom sanding done this weekend.

Have a good wkend yourself. ;)

The wire is blue, red, green and black. Just looks purple. These are the colors for wiring all rgb lights. The red or any color can be faded, fade in and out, blink, flash, bounce, all sorts of stuff.

Didn't get any work time on the boat today. But here is the latest on the dock project. installed the next pads up to where the steps will connect everything. This will be the last of trompling throught he mud on this job. Yeah!

Still have 8 more stringers to put in but you get the idea.;) Sorry, no roof pics, bahaha The steps worked out to be 6 1/2 inch rise and 16 inches deep. Sweet! Figure even Smoke's foot can fit on those, lol

that deck is coming along nicely,
as far as the lights go,
funny how you buried that just deep enough to cover the walkway with the light, even if you didn't mean to:Dlol
red is still my fav but i like the feel of the dark blue:D and the purple.

Lol, I have always said I'll take good luck over skill any day,lol I couldn't pick just one color, I like them all. Thats whats nice about the rgb's if you get bored you hit the remote. :D

You know what they say about a man with big feet and big hands......... big shoes and big gloves, lol:facepalm:

I really like the orange, it plays well with the teak color. I am thinking of upgrading the two rgb controllers to a controller that offers like 50 colors. We'll see though. good enough for now.

Re: 1990 Chris Craft 254 Seahawk ( Refurb and upgrades)

FINALLY! Got back to sanding on the bottom of the boat. Didn't quite get as far as I thought I would, but everything that was left is sanded down with 600. Just need to sand those areas with 800, 1000, and compound/polish and the hull is finished! :)

Will probably wax after that, but will do that when I clean-up the rest off the boat in a couple weeks.

These were the areas left, the center between rollers and port side chine to edge.

Sanded down. Can say this was the hardest scratches/paint to get off for some reason, maybe its just because I'm over it! lol

I'm thinking some nice waterproof leds would look cool inbedded in each chine,lmao:eek::D

A nice line of LED's buried in clear running along the chine, yeah, KIT2000 style. Bringing it back? You do sort resemble Michael Knight, don't you??

Chine LED's will make underwater hull inspections easier. I'd recommend white only, and definitely no color fades in & out. Vertigo is not fun!:D

Geez, only 800 & 1000G left, & some polish/wax, and you knocked of in time to post before 12midnight? What the he!! dude, part-timing this redo? Oh, wait, that's, um, yeah, aahh, that's me....:facepalm:The

600 looks great, really be screaming shiny after the next 2 or 3 steps.
