Decker...I have just lurked in awe on your thread, but I, too, offer sincere condolences for the loss of your mother. There are a few of us ladies here on iboats that share in what you are undoubtedly feeling right now. You will know when the time is right to continue on your restore journey. Until then, share your memories, your grief, your laughter, all of it that was once your mother, share it with your family & friends. Hold on tight to those you still have & know that many of us have or will soon be in your shoes. Lean on those you cherish. We all look forward to having you back in action soon.

While we all share a love for boats, its times like this when we remember that the best things in life are not things.

Hopefully, though, the boat work will take your mind mind off things when you feel like working on it again.

THANK YOU PATRICK.. My mother was one of the greatest women in my life..
I have done alittle work trying to get the bunks all lined up today..
Does help to stay busy at something I like doing..

I've seen an OB motor's powerhead sagged nearly to the ground where the corner of the transom fiberglass failed, and slowly peeled the exterior glass back like a banana peel. It may have happened overnight, after a storm, or just sheer neglect & nobody noticed it moving a little each day......

Looked just plain crazy...... And they didn't seem particularly interested in pulling the OB or doing anything about it ......

Whats the big deal? Just needs a little TLC right? Should be water ready with a patch kit from lowes... The owner would probably fix it himself but has too many other projects

He's probably got a piece of metal transom support to put in with the deal so you can put it in asap.
I would take the boat if it were free . Want to have a fiberglass deck boat one day ..

Well I guess none of you gentlemen would like to repair this one.. ^^^^^

Want to wish all of my i-boats friends a Very Happy ThanksGivings Day..

I also would like to give THANKS to all the MEN and WOMEN that are in the armed forces serving our great country today.
Pray they all come home SAFE and have a great ThanksGiving..:clap2:

May have some new things coming this Friday.. Will see if Santa comes eairly for me..
Will let you know by Friday evening.. The Admiral has already given her blessing..

The Admiral and I were just cruising around on this Black Friday and ended up about 65 miles from home..

Stop by this house in a small town and found a new, to me, project..

The admiral was in a hurry to get home for some leftover t-bird with cornbread stuffing and giblett gravy, so I didn't have alot of time
to check everything out..

To my suprise I found this thing following me home..

Looks like the interior'sa mess, but all present, and styro not pour in foam, so that's all a plus....

WLofD isn't so great, admittedly, but that can be resolved.
