Man, I bet it feels good to be down to patch work compared to doing the entire half of the hull...bummer on the over-enthusiastic hole grinding...I recall the feeling all too well...

Overall, a great leap forward...nice work!:D

Just catching up one everyone's threads. Man, you guys are scaring t H#$@ out of me with all this sanding talk. My day is coming and I'll be re-gel coating my entire 26' bridge boat. Maybe I'll have to hire some of the people that stand in front of Home Depot each morning.

Sea ya...

Well it's been a week since I last posted,
First I would like to stay a great big ole Texas thanks to all the gentlemen that have stopped by and gave all the kind remarks and encouraging words. I-Boat guys are the best.

I did get a little work done last week but with all the rain and the wife having her 58th birthday, not much was done.

Then I was reading somewhere on PMC's thread and was told I am a confused glasser by none other than the famous jasoutside :D:redface::facepalm:
and it took me awhile to figure out I do have a glass boat and I needed to sand some more.

Hope everyone has a good week.

That's a lot of foam. Make sure you have PLENTY of garbage bags on hand.

imho, if you are going to put in all the time, effort, and money to replace stringers and foam, might as well do it right.

How much extra do you think all poured foam will cost you?

Only did a few hours of glassing the on the transom and sanding the patches. More time with the wife.

I have not even thought about the price of the foam. There is a ton of this stuff. I am going to put in a few under deck storage that will take out some of the foam, but there will be alot to go back in.

Thanks SP

It's been a few days since I last posted. Did alittle more work. Everyone already knows what it was. SANDING
Finnished the transom and a couple of patches. Sanded alittle more than 1/3 of the hull.
