Dang dude! You have been on a serious roll on your boat. I like how the floor and paint looks, and the "custom" consoles look pretty sharp sitting in there too. Either you have some serious photography skills or well you don't do half bad work!!! :)
Keep the train rolling.. CHOO CHOO!!!

It's looking good!

Crazy how fast you work!! Did you by any chance save that metal "v" shaped piece that used to be in the bow?

Alright...yard pass...woo hooo... What a great day... I'll watch British Open and Jas in simulcast....

Little inspiration for you... Make the final shot... You can do it.

And when you complete this goal, I'll be cheering like Dennis Hopper at 2:14.

No distraction... Just a little pre-game speech to emphasize that we've got a real opportunity here... Time to be clutch.., that's all.

Carry on,

K, progress report -

Those of you who follow the Islander thread know that I grabbed a big trailer load of bleacher boards from my high school last summer. I was a BAD kid at that high school back in the mid 90's!

Nice tight, straight grained douglas fir. Start...

After some cutting and a ton of sanding (4 passes each) I now 5 pieces. One for the each dash, and one for the front side of each console. The 5th is for my controls...

Man that took a lot longer than I thought to sand all those down, rats! You can see I kept them pretty simple. I just clipped the corners a lil. I also left the big bolt holes in a few, I kinda like em:)

K, now I need to mark out my helm dash for steering and gauges. Later!

Well, my yard pass musta expired as I'm boat building and watching the boys right now. You would have just been watching me sanding and telling the boys to put that back and stop killing each other:rolleyes::facepalm:

Jas - You have made the Sea Nymph a proper boat by adding the Starcraft consoles. LOL I wanna see those gauges spinin'.

Everything is looking good.

I think he's stuck on where to put the battery again.

Put the motor on, install the Puma Xtreme steering, nav and anchor, horn and there rest will happen on vacation.

Yah, not even close. Daddy duties found their way in. I stutter balked on my gauge lay out for a minute too.

K, update.

I had these controls find their way to me so I had a learning curve as to how to mount them in order to drill out...

Then I marked everything out...

Cool...

That additional hole down to the left is for 12V.

Man, this is going to be near impossible to Sea Trial tomorrow. I'm still shooting for it! I'd still have time to run it first light on Saturday if it came to it. I'd rather not but I can if need be since we won't leave for the YOOP till late morning.

Onward!
