Re: 1980 Sea Nymph SS 165 Rebuild

maybe change the name to

Go speed racer.......

or

GO JAS GO ..... i like this one myself........

for seats in a pinch, you could just throw the 3rd row seat in from the SUV, quick easy and effective.....

Ready for install tomorrow.

I also got the last coat on the deck and hull...

I am liking the texture on the deck, good stuff, feels good under the feet. I wanted a little texture on the hull sides - I thought through a bunch of different options but in the end I simply used a thick nap roller cover. Easy!

Tomorrow is going to need to be big day, I have lots to bolt onto this Sea Nymph;)

MMMmmmmmm. Love the smell of Koolaid in the morning!

That fitup is Poifect!

Question Jas - will those factory (floor?) supports under your consoles get in your way or is keeping them part of your plan?

Thanks man!

Eh? Huh? You mean those triangle shaped brackets on riveted to the hull sides?

Today is a big day. Here's what I'm doing - I got the puter out here in the garage and when I get something done, I'll post it up. Step by step;)

It's raining pretty hard this morning which kinda messes with my plan but I'll get it sorted...

Yous could maybe go get a couple of cutting boards or one big one to get material for the dash,...

I've seen the composite ones in a few different colors,...

They sell fairly wide 'planks' of composite decking that's not full thickness for use @ composite decks, fascia, post trim & what-not. It's available in the faux redwood color......

Consoles look like a great fit.... Is it the camera angle/perspective or do the consoles each pitch slightly towards their gunwale along the top?

Incredible Jas!

After the splash I'd like to chat off-line about how you built the hatch openings, and ring supports...

I love the white, grey, and stainless look of this boat... Simply awesome dood!

Yah guys, I'm going to bring a little wood into this boat with the console dash pieces, hang tight on that;)

Could be, they are just dry fit in there, not yet locked in.

Time for a shower, some hot coffee and Jen made some blueberry pancakes:D

By the way, my buddy PMC calls em "YARD PASSES". Well Jen gave me one for today. She said I can take (pretty much) the whole day to work on the Sea Nymph. She's a peach:D
