Glad to see you are ready to roll with this one... I may have missed it, but when were you thinking of starting on this one?

Jim

Glen says it a retirement project, IM. Along with the rest of the tinnies in the Mid-West US after he snags them all.

Hey Glen! Looks like a great boat to work on --- and nice find there Gibbs!!!

Just your average drive for you though....2600km --- nice little weekend jaunt! :)

Sorry I haven't commented till now... had to replace out 20 servers and upgrade all of our corporate software over the last 5 days with 2 other guys on my team... it was a little busy!

Glad to see you are ready to roll with this one... I may have missed it, but when were you thinking of starting on this one?

Thanks Jim, I'm not sure when I will start on this one, maybe not till next year.

So you want to travel to the Way Lower 48, huh? I'll check with Georgia Immigration to see if Kanucks are allowed down here.

But since I'm a nice guy, here's one.

It's Gotta Go!! 1997 Starcraft Cursor

Heck, I'm in a generous mood, one more.

Ticked of wife by the sounds of the ad. "old" worked. Dozer only wants the SS. I'm trying to keep some tin in the US. :D

Dozer - the SS was looked at by one of the wannabe TinHeads down here. The port side is apparently bashed in pretty good. You know - the side with no pics.

Is there a clearance sale on SC tin down your way? All for $1000 or less........

JB - I just want to see a pick-up with Sask. plates in Georgia so when the wife and I go on a road trip the licence game will be more interesting. :)

I see very few SCs tinnies down here. In fact in the past two years only one SS has crossed my wake on the lake. There is one SC pontoon dealer (in appropriately SC) and no tin or glass dealers that I've located.

I think the Starcraft tin here came about through people moving south from places like Detroit. And following owners don't know how to price them. But that's good. :D

Re: 1979 18' v5

Better figure in a hefty fuel alllowance to cover the drive down.

What's a 'normal' 2800 mi SC grab from the US set you back for fuel D?

More then I paid for the last 2 SC's I bought combined I reckon, and 1 of those included a 'free' disposable glasser

But given the 2012 SOTY, it is clearly a good thing to have ya grab em & get back in service

thanks Jb, 2800 kilometers 1750 m cost me about $350.

Great find DII,
That's a near exact match to my 79ss, The color & trailer are exact to mine! The visible diff's are, Splash well, underfloor tank, and the driver raised console, and maybe the uppermost bow looks more narrow, NICE BOAT THO, I LIKE IT!

BTW, I just missed a 16SS, center console with no motor for 600.00!!! dang the luck...
