Glen, Hopefully all goes well with the pick-up. You should be proud and sad as she rolls away.

You did an awesome job on that build. Nice that someone will be putting the beauty to use.

Hey John, ya there is a pile o parts but it's going to get bigger before is gets smaller. Actually I/O are not that bad once you have a had a few, other than installing bellows they are pretty simple to work on.

Got at a little more done this morning, stopped by Princess Auto yesterday and picked up a couple items to make cleaning up the Mercruiser parts easier. I bought this pressure feed sand blaster from them a couple years ago for $25. but it was pretty messy, so purchased the hood and gloves to help out.

Started cleaning up the paint on the exhaust elbow.

Ant got the seats and motor cover out of the interior.

The sand blaster works great, I am using real cheap crushed glass and it takes the paint of fast. An yes the bow will be staying on, I really like having it there.

I have an order of Mercruiser parts coming in next week so I will be able to put the ?/D back together one they are blasted and painted.

Hey, DII - Is the crushed glass reusable like sand or is it reduced to powder after bouncing off the target?

Hey GA, it would be reusable if the dummy spraying it was catching it:watermelon:

I tried reusing some of the glass, but I ended up with some pebbles mixed in that plugged up the nozzle, so ya it is the cost of rebuilding.
I got everything blasted, primed and two coats of black on them. I ordered new decals, should be here next week.

That's gonna look great with decals, DII. I'm losing track - Is this a keeper or a flipper? I know the 14' Holiday is being flipped.

Hi Dozer. I did the same to mine a few years ago. I used the white "sand" from Princess Auto. Did a decent job. I never added decals though. Where did you order yours from? - Grandad

Your not the only one GA, I'm pretty sure this is the keeper, at least that's what the Admiral keeps telling me.

Hey Glen - Let's see the same pic in January or February. On second thought, nah. I'm getting chills just seeing that.

Woke up this morning not snowing any more but it is -15c, this all came way to fast this year. Haven't had a chance to gradually get used to the cold.
