Ok... so I know I have been on vacation a ton and out of town... but you managed to sneak another boat home! Man... oh man!

Looks really good though... ok is this one staying in the Dozer hanger till spring or gone now... Is it getting a bowectomy?

Nice to see you've got another potential project for the fall/winter though!

J.

Hey Jim, ya I kinda slipped this one by ya. This ones staying for a while, I'm almost to the point I won't say it's a keeper cuz that doesn't seem to work, I think it is one of the effects of MBS. The only thing in the plan for this one this winter is to repair the steering slop and replace all the bellows and water pump. Then clean up the inside a little and put in a good fish finder.

why TWO license plates?????????????????? congrats on the rig......enjoy!!

Thanks Bob, the second plate is the previous owners expired one, I guess I should have taken it off as I kinda broke the law by having two on there.

you know how law abiding those Canadians are...

Sorry B2  I won't do it again, tarnishing our law abiding reputation.

Weak. Wouldn't fly in my house.

Glad you figured out the bilge filler. Sounds like a great ride, although it's really hard to tell. No Pics or Vids.:faint2:

Dozer, I've read through two of your restores - I doubt this quote is true

If those two hold true, this gal will be a beauty!

Nice rig man. We'll both have to get on the water someday.

Okay, Okay, you guys were right, as soon as it gets too cold to take the Holiday out fishing I got some repairs to do. A couple photos you have to look close but!!

If you scroll from the first pic to the second you will see a very noticeable difference in the angle to starboard on the out drive, that is how much play there is in the steering arm shaft, almost 4"at the prop. I have to take care of this, and to do it the motor and transom assembly has to come off, if they have to come off I might as well replace the transom, if I'm going to do that I might as well do the deck, while everything is out I might as well strip and paint her, AH jessh might as well do the whole thing.

Sounds like a winter re-do is in the works. Am I seeing a lot of sealant around the transom assembly? Never a good sign.

Ya GA the P/O was a lover of silicone it is everywhere. The bottom of the hull is covered in it. Also the bottom of the hull is in pretty bad shape dent wise, going to take some caressing with a body hammer and dolly. The motor runs great, thanks to the small lake we are on now and the incredible # of fish, we have only had to travel 100 yard from the boat launch all summer to get way more fish than we need. I have burned a total of three gallons of gas:rolleyes: And yes we did catch the fish here are a couple pics I found on the camera after the admiral remembered to bring it.

I know it didn't happen with out pics so here you go, that was just one outing the rest she forgot the camera.
