I just watched the unload and was thinking "Hey, what's the big deal?". Then at 7:35 - Nice recovery and remarkable restraint keeping your cool.
getting back up to speed here. nice work so far. i used to have a car on four of those dollies with two 4" solid cinder blocks on top of each and then a 4x6" beam, so i could roll it around during painting while still keeping it high enough to work.
kiddies, this here is a PARABLE for the noobs. if someone who's the Arch Tinhead and has restored this many of em (and thus knows exactly what to look for when buying one) gets surprised by these little "issues" with the boat, you should expect any old boat you buy to have LOTS more issues than you see at first.
When the Brown truck arrived yesterday he says COD for brokerage to bring it to Canada $78.31 So to bring $130.00 worth of parts to Canada from a supplier that ships free in the States cost me almost double.:faint2:
There are no duties on U.S. parts since free trade, from China yes. This was all a money grab by UPS. I should have done a Jason suggested and refused the package but then the project is at a stop.
Is this a normal charge UPS adds for US to CA shipments? What a crock of you know what! I hope you paid the uplift in pennies if you still have some laying around.
well. you know those Canuck border guards......
I had a full tank on my rebuild as well about 25 gals went into my truck, cheering for ya GOOOOOOOOOOO RIDERS
