Hey thanks fellas! Getting there... Appreciate you guys bumping me along!

All right I am pretty jazzed to show you guys some new gear!
OK, so, I have really had enough of my chewed up, bent up, shot gun blasted gunwales. They are just bad and I am really tired of looking at them!
I'll handle these like I have on my previous projects, Berts Tracks! I feel like I am cheating here and jumping ahead on this project, but like I said, I am through with these gunwales, so here we go...
Berts Custom Tackle Commercial - YouTube
Love em, 4 footers going on the Islander! Now, a very long time ago I mounted a super long 1/2" backer that actually goes all down the gunwales, around the stern deck, and then back up the other gunwale. Solid! So here, I have lned up the track, marked the holes, drilled em out, and placed these rubber spacers so that water and other junk can make it's way out easily...
Then I just line up the track, squeeze in some 5200, and bolt up with some nice fender washers and nylon lock nuts...
Bolted down, all the 5200 cleaned up, super bomber!
Much nicer gunwale!
If you guys have seen my other projects this is nothing new.
But, check this out!
