Or like this (I'm almost certain the windshield frames will be black too). Topsides will be white and I'll have a navy blue patch matched up with the cabin window...

I really like the Sylvan's paint layout. It works real nice with a graphic of some sort also.

I can tell you haven't given up as soon as I see you imitating a pre-school fingerpainter. Is there a subliminal message in the last pic? For some reason I feel the urge to don Hazmat gear when I look at it.

The last professionally painted boat with the blue about half way down to the chine is my choice. It goes well with the all white topsides.

You and the boys must be wearing the SN out. :) Are you guys fishing or making excuses to stop for ice cream? :D

Hmmm, graphic you say?

I may be too boring/lame for such things.

Nice trailer graphics.

I came up with that all on my own;)

Are you guys fishing

Yes!

or making excuses to stop for ice cream? :D

My Admiral likes the Midnight Blue color that Chris Craft uses! Good luck!

Man willy, I went to a different computer, my drawings look purple, gross!

I like the Sylvan; I am doing Navy over white on my Sea Nymph that is similar to the last picture you showed up there...

P.S. Your coloring is worse than your singing...

P.S.S. I/Os are garbage...

Hi jasoutside; Am joining this thread late. I remember how your islander looked when you picked up. Wow she is looking fabulous. I am seriously thinking on buying a 1985 22' islander. The engine is blown, but can get it for a decent price. Was happy to see you had successfully changed from omc to mercruiser as that is what I would do.

Hey fellas, I know dealing with your jealousy issues must be tough. Try to stay strong though. You just have to realize that my artistic skillz are saaaaweeeet and move on:afro:

Gus, hey, that is looking purdy sharp there ^^^ :thumb:

Hey cat! Yah man, the really great thing about the OMC to Merc transplant is that the stringers for the motor mounts are all there ready for action:thumb: Course a fella still needs to deal with that gigantic hole in the back end eh:facepalm:

OK, progress accountability......

Hey, finally making my way into some paint work. Finally! The cockpit is primed! Not worth the photo at the moment (even if I could find my camera).

I don't foresee any further progress over the weekend though. The weather looks awesome and we are heading to the fishing grounds with the Sea Nymph:becky:

Have a fantastic Memorial Day weekend fellow boat nerds:nerd:

When I read that I actually heard Mike Rowe's voice.....(Deadliest Catch)

Hopefully you don't run into 20-footers! Have a great weekend!

Though I wouldn't mind seeing Jas kneeboarding behind the SN being towed around by a 20ft {insert large freshwater fish [??:confused:??], all I could come up w/ was a Great White, and that's just silly :facepalm:}

Have a great family adventure w/ the SN this weekend!
