OK, time to start rolling again on this Islander project! I'd like to get a little more serious on this but man, it was so tight in the garage. The first order of biz was to get the Sea Nymph wrapped up and pushed outside. Then I got the Islander turned diagonal in the garage so I could have a little elbow room.
I took the old cabin bulkheads and made some templates, dry fit...
I'm actually still trying to decide what material to use there, frustrating. I need to make that decision, like, today.
So I'm amped about this! I
really wanted seat pedestals that slide
and rotate but they are soooo expensive. I've been looking forever to score a good deal. I nearly gave up and considered fixed pedestals. Spotted a pair of these on eBay for less than a hundred bux, shipped, sweet!
I had to dig out my seats and set em up just to see....
I'm pretty excited with how that's shaping up!
