Re: 1976 22' Starcraft Islander Rebuild
Yah, I hear ya guys. I wish I could say I shot that paint recently but it's been months. I can see that it came off between the etching primer and the Rusto paint primer. I fear that maybe my prep work (or any number of other issues) may not have been up to par, bummer. Time will tell how well I did painting that hull.
Yah, that jack is purdy big actually. Kinda one of the reasons I didn't swap it out for a shiny new one anyway.
Hey Mike, heads up just in case you swing over to Charlie's place any time it's really warm out. Apparently he works on his rig in a Speedo. Yikes!
And back into the 60's for a high after tonight, LOL. Only in Michigan. Can be working on the boat in your speedo one day and winter coat and shorts the next.
Whats up with the paint bud? It looks like its soft or something, how long has it been on?
It looks like your hull paint has reached complete cure yet

After seeing how huge your trailer jack is now...I feel sillly having asked if it gets the bow high enough
You aren't kidding about summer arriving in Michigan, well into the 80s out this way.
Nice work on the trailer, it's looking great.
