Yah, I kinda think the push/pull would compliment the rig nicely :)

^^^^Yes. And push 'em in - everything off. I'm thinking about the final plan for my dash and it ain't having any of those new-fangled switches. Heck I might just twist wires together. LOL

Here's what we woke up to this morning...

It was really beautiful.

Few trees in the road...

So, not much progress on the Jet today. Mostly running the saw and the plow.

I have a feeling that my boating season was all of 30 min long for 2011. Oh well, I'll have the bulk of 2012:)

Wuss! :p It does look pretty though. 30 minutes is an eternity compared to the guys still building. I got about 3 hours in, Lakelover got wet. BD and Zach got some time, can't remember any others. Oh, yeah - Bunker and rrumba. There must be more. So you're in good company, Jas. You got wet and got the :Ds and what was it - 15 YEEHAWS, buddy. I think next spring/summer we'll see a bumper crop of Starcrafts on the water. You can double dip with the Islander.

I didn't think Georgians got to comment on snow pics.:p

Jas quit messing around and hurry up w/ that wiring, I want to see what you come up with for seating. Have you come up with a plan?

That will be fun:D

Yah sorry, I have been shopping around a little bit for switches. For push/pulls I see cheap and expensive. About like most stuff I guess.

Yup, I just about have my plan hatched for seating. That stern deck still has me confused a bit. I'll get it figured :)

Great video, great project.

Jas, I was grinning ear to hear and woohoo'in with ya'. You know, that's how I feel every time I get out on boat. It's freedom, adventure, and danger.

Gosh, I need mine done, I need a fix!

We just had snow forecast for yesterday, so there TDF. :p No it didn't happen, not my fault WX forecasters aren't very good. About as good as splash predictions, we always under estimate. BTW, I'm Georgian only because it's were I am now. Originally from PA, I've been through a few forecasted 6" snowfalls that turned out to be 3 ft.+. My aching back!!

30 minutes of kneeling was too much, huh? Yep, you need some seating.

Yikers! And I was complaining about it getting below 70 :/ Beautiful, but I think I'll stick to the swamp :)

Hey man; I hate to see you give up on those lights, especially since you want to use them for the Islander too. I saw This Thread this a.m. and, in particular, post No. 4. I know you have tried everything, but I figured I'd pass it along before you officially threw in the towel. Looking at those little lit up switches could be almost as fun as playing with your TnT in the driveway this winter

Thanks for the heads up man!

Yah, the post that silvertip put up was exactly how I had my bilge pump wired. Both the pump and the switch light worked fine. The switch light was always on but that didn't bother me as I could just hit the main breaker at the end of the trip, no biggie.

My main issue was getting the off/on/on switches to light. Accessories work fine but no switch light. I do believe diodes came into play. Maybe. Possibly. I dunno.

Switches are out of the console so I do believe I'll move on.:)

Thanks for thinking of me buddy!

Hi Jas. I know I can wire those switches.

With a meter I can figure it all out, empirically. I just don't think I can explain it on the bulletin board without the diagram/arrangement of the particular switch you have (since I can't ohm-out / check continuity on your device in person).

Do you have a ohm meter / continuity tester?

I guess you threw the towel in on it anyway.

shucks!
