Re: 1968 15' Starcraft Jet Star Rebuild
You enjoy the rivets, eh mccraney? They are made of alum
Come on over to the other side buddy, the cool aid is fantastic!
Thanks man, cheers
Yup, you read my mind bro. Before I install the console I'll cut the hole for steering and install the rotary system. Hook up the cable to the OB then install/mount the console to the gunwale. The cable will ultimately dictate where the console will sit and be mounted. I'd imagine it would be a huge wrestling match nightmare to install the console and then attempt to fit a cable in there. My margin of error would be just about zero going that way.
Yah man, it's been pretty cold/rainy/windy around these parts the past few days. I am running out of reasonable temps to voyage day but I think I have just enough fall left to fit it in
I really like this boat. Very cool little fishing machine. Great work!

Wouldn't it have been easier to cut holes in that aluminum for the wheel and gauges before attaching it to the frame? I'm not too worried, you'll make it great one way or another.
This is a very cool lookin boat Jas.
25 degrees on the car thermometer this morning....
