Re: 1968 15' Starcraft Jet Star Rebuild

My mariner is the same way no limber hole in front rib I've been dumping My leftover epoxy up there (never seem to get the exact amount I need ) I figure by the time I'm done with epoxy (sometime in 2025) any water in the bow will run right over that rib. I considered drilling a hole and still may if I don't get it filled in all the way.

Dood, you'll be done way before 2025! 2018ish prolly:p

So this morning...

I stood and stared at the boat. Thought about hull color.

Then, I lifted it up off of the trailer and onto saw horses to prep for paint.

Then, I stood and stared at the boat. Thought about hull color.

We must be at the same point in the process...I've been doing this for a few weeks now(maybe months:confused::facepalm:).

At least I have trailer work to catch up on in the mean time:)

Since your trailers are both done, I'm not sure what to suggest you do while you are suffering from paint anxiety. Maybe go fish from a bridge? :D

Yah, I could do that too.:)

Dood, I was always that "you do it first kid". And here is me...

"Yah, that would be cool! Ok, here I go!"

Still am pretty much.

Do you still have all your fingers and toes? Well OK then.

I have vowed not to let this decision slow me down. Now that the rig is up on blocks ready to be made pretty, I better decide quick!!!

I might go a bit larger, 1/4?

Maybe, for quicker drainage.

Or, Azlo style bilge pump up front there?:D

Do you still have all your fingers and toes? Well OK then.

Yah, have all the digits. Light on nobody home sort of issues though. And I drool on myself a little sometimes.

Uh, strike that. Blindsided by a honey do list. I don't see working on the Jet Star anywhere on it.

Now I see why you cut up poor defenseless glassers. Take mama to the lake and let her get the bug too. My baby wants to get the old power-stroke going so we can get the century out before the snow flys. Hope you get some time on yours soon you need a good ride in the wet stuff to motivate you to finish the big boat.

When mama's not happy, nobody's happy. Tomorrow is another day.

I'm cleaning up a list over here as well. Cutting the grass today and maybe picking up a load of wood.

Good to see you found time to get back at it. Looking forward to more pics.
