Thanks...as long as I have my car back and I won't slide down the ramp into the lake, I'll be there. But you know how that random universe can throw stuff in your way. That's why I'm a believe-it-when-I-see-it guy!!

I can't wait to see it on the water


Just a few more weeks until I tackle the transom on my jetstar...
But I know there are a few more good fishing days I can squeze out of the old one.

But the thought of my upgraded mercury (65hp) makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

I will be using this thread to help me along the way, and I'm feeling pretty good about it (convert to 20in transom).

Good luck with the transom, you shouldn't have any problems with it. I think a 65 on a Jet Star would be a little too scary for me! Do you have the 3 knee braces? They are solid little boats.

That's the best kind! They're stuck in the office 9-5 so there's no problem with you dropping them off at work and borrowing their truck for the day!
My brother's not too far away in Manhattan and I'd volunteer his help, but he hasn't owned a car in 9 years. Manhattan and London don't really require them!

Looks like no car tomorrow either, still waiting for the part to come in.

Weather is fantastic, too. Battery is charging, all set to go, just need to stop for air in tires. Keeping fingers crossed for Thurs. Weather forecast: Mostly sunny, with a high near 57. South wind between 3 and 8 mph.

What more could I ask for except a tow vehicle?
