Now I can't wait until next....June! I'll have to wait all that time to try it out in real life!

Thanks for the comments. I've been sitting here this evening watching TV, with the back of my mind really being annoyed by that missing 1/2"......come up with an idea, or GET OVER IT! Probably nobody will notice it but me.

Awesome, lakelover. I added a link back to your great step by step windshield project. It's not as clean as what you tried, but it's there. I couldn't fix whatever went wrong with your link. :doh:

Windshield looks great Lake, your going to have to use a higher SPF sun block now.:D

So now we see what you do with your noodles.

One of the many uses of the venerable noodle! I only put one on the top of the windshield when it's going to be stored & not used for any lengthy period of time to protect the cover at the stress point.
